Betty Crocker Gift Basket Giveaway


This giveaway is in celebration of Betty Crocker's online cooking club The Mixer. See yesterday's post for info about this new exciting cooking experience. The Mixer gift basket is filled with a Betty Crocker mixing spoon, spatula, measuring spoons and cups, whisk, liquid measuring cup and a Betty Crocker Magazine - just the right items to help you prepare spectacular meals and desserts. To get a chance to win this gift basket, leave a comment telling me what you would name your bakery if you owned one!

  1. Hm! I've never thought about naming a bakery. I would go with Emily Ann's Bakery & Cafe (we have a Julie Anne's in Shreveport..thats all I could think of! LOL! I'm kind of lame!

  22. I've actually known this for a long time (I've ALWAYS wanted to open my own bakery)... Save Your Fork. It comes from the fact that whenever my brother and I were little and there was dessert to be had after dinner, my mom would tell us to save our forks (rather than get out another one to dirty up and have to wash). To this day, if you see my brother lick his fork clean and set it down next to his empty dinner plate, you know he's expecting dessert!

  25. Thanks for giving me the chance to get this out of my system! In my fantasy world, I would name my bakery "No Doughnuts"! Grocery stores and Tim Horton are the doughnut denizens; my bakery would be a true bakery, with cookies, tortes, scones, cakes, cupcakes, napoleons, baklava, etc. (you can see I have thought this out!).

  34. My bakery would be Koshy Kakes...because my name begins with a k and my bfs is Josh and since we'd do it together, I would combine our names and our specialty would be cakes, cupcakes, coffee cakes, etc...yummy!

  68. I've known for a while that my bakery would be called "Cuppy's Creations"... When I was very young, I couldn't pronounce my name (Courtney) so I called myself "Cuppy", so that's where the "odd" name comes from!
