Chocolate Fudge Cookies

The Funfetti cake mix cookies were quite the hit in the office last week, so I decided to try a chocolate version for a party at work tomorrow. These turned out so as yummy as the previous cake mix cookies. I really want to try to make a spice cake version next! (Note: I had to leave mine in the oven for 15 min. rather than 10 min.)

Chocolate Fudge Cookies

1 (18.25 ounce) package devil's food cake mix
2 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets.
In a medium bowl, stir together the cake mix, eggs and oil until well blended. Fold in the chocolate chips. Roll the dough into walnut sized balls. Place the cookies 2 inches apart on the cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

    i made very similar cookies last week to send to the troops in iraq. they smelled amazing but i didn't taste one.

    I need to try cake mix cookies! After sampling some recently, I think they are one of my newest favorites! Yours look great!
