

These cherry bars were a gigantic hit at work. Everybody loved them and asked me to bring more tomorrow. We will see if my husband is willing to give up the rest of his portion. Maybe he will share. This recipe is so fast and simple. All you have to do is mix up some sugar cookie mix, press half into the bottom of a pan, top with pie filling, and then drop spoonfuls of remaining mix on top. When it is done, you top it with a simple glaze. The recipe calls for almond extract, but I used vanilla. Next time I make this, I am going to use blueberry pie filling. The recipe can be found
