Get Active Giveaway

It is giveaway time! Check out this fun Get Active prize pack from Yoplait for Kids. It includes: a coupon for free Yoplait Kids Yogurt, a travel cooler, a jump rope, a water bottle, and an outdoor game set that includes a beach ball, paddle ball, Jai-Ali, and a Frisbee.

There are 3 prize packages to give away. To have a chance to win, leave a comment telling me what you do to stay active or what you do to keep your kids active. You will receive extra entries for blogging about the giveaway and/or subscribing to my blog. Just leave me an extra comment telling me you did so. I just started walking and running during the week. Also, when I babysit, I take the kids to a park rather than just sit at home and watch TV.

to stay active I try to workout 5 days a week, cardio and strength training and also walk whenever I can.

Great giveaway! :) We love to go 4 wheeling around our place and for walks in the woods. I have an active 6 year old that loves to play outside with Mom and Dad and help in the garden too!

We have two littles guys that are just 20 months apart in age....I CHASE AFTER THEM for my exercise! The boys love playing soccer, playing outside on our acreage and just being boys! They really like to jump rope, so that would come in handy! Thanks!

Staying active means making sure I walk to class and get to the gym several days a week. It used to mean going to work, but since I quit that job...At the gym I've started running, but I also usually do the stair master and stationary bike. I've fallen off the weights bandwaggon!

How I stay active = yoga (daily) and strength-training (5 days a week with my trainer); oh and spontaneous dance parties in my kitchen ;-)

when i started running my kids LOVED coming and watching my races. after each race they reenact the race for days and days, wearing my number and putting the medal around each others necks. i can't wait to run a race with them some day

Very cool giveaway! HoneyB just told me about it. My babygirl LOVES yogurt. My kids are very active....Here's an ex. of an average week for my twin boys
Mon. & Wed. after homework..long toss & hit in the backyard for an hour & a half. Tues fielding practice from 7 til 9:30. Thurs pitching & batting practice 6:30 til 9. Friday night a bb game, Sat. 2 bb games, and Sunday 3 bb games. That's for bb's spring season. During Football season or basketball we have those practices & games mixed in to bb as we live in FL & play year round. I am the opposite and encourage my guys to come in and relax!

I'm a total gym rat. Lift free weights 2-3 times a week. Hour spinning classes twice a week, run outside twice a week, and elyptical trainer twice a week. PHEW! AND there are always things like snowshoeing, and hiking when the weather is nice!

just playing. in the summer i nanny and i make sure to head to the beach and run around bc beach running is so hard! love the prize package..its fun!

The kids play at the park, take swim classes and go to school at a nature school where they hike/outdoors everyday for 2 hours. I go to the gym 4-5 times per week and we all eat well.

We always stop at different parks in the areas where I am doing errands. It gives the kids a chance to stretch their legs and we discover new and exciting play areas. Live, laugh and be happy! Thanks for the great giveaway!

I drop my car off at the mechanic and walk to work! Wait, I don't do that every day, thank goodness. I do play racquetball with a friend every week.

i am big runner. love to go to the park and jog, and watch all the dogs with their human walkers. :)

i don't have kids, but i'm entering b/c i'm doing a vegan cooking demo for kids at the end of the month and would love to support healthy habits by giving this to one of them!

My girls and I love hiking. We go on longer and more difficult hikes on weekends but we try to go at least around the block everyday :)

To keep my kids active we instituted a "no TV on weeknights" rule.

The funnest way we stay active is our jumping jack marathons. When we are in line somewhere and I see the wiggles start up, I'll assign everyone a certain number of jumping jacks to do - like "Joshua, give me 36 jumping jacks".

Cute pack! To stay active I ride my bike & walk a lot... it also helps that I tend to really dislike driving. A good family activity to get the kids involved is swimming or walking the dog. I loved walking around the block with my dog as a kid!

I get up each morning and go for a walk to start the day-even if I do not have time for a long walk a walk around the block is a great way to get the day started. Once the weather warms up add in a swim at lunch-great cool off and exercise.

We garden, exercise the dogs, play in the creek on our property. In the winter we have a treadmill for mommy and daddy and a kids' exercise bike.
