I finally bought that vanilla bean paste that many bloggers have been raving about lately! Of course, I tried it in my oatmeal first. I was in vanilla bean heaven. The little black specks made it even more delightful! Tonight, I mixed 1/4 tsp of vanilla bean paste, 2 drops clear stevia, and 2 tbsp fat free Promise butter! I put it on top of my sweet potato, and it was the perfect blend of buttery sweetness! The slight taste of vanilla bean really blended well with the sweet potato. I may have to work this vanilla bean paste into my sweet potato casserole this Thanksgiving!
The next pictures are of a card our four year old niece gave my husband for his birthday. It was actually a poster. She wrote Happy Birthday on the horse and her name in the stars. On the back, there was a baby picture of her and a coloring book page. When asked who the man on the page was, she said, "Prince Jason." She must think pretty highly of her uncle! I sure do!!!

That card is adorable and the vanilla bean paste sounds like heaven on earth :)
Glad to see you tracked down the vanilla bean paste! How much did you end up using in your oatmeal?
Hi Megan! I'm oogling your vanilla butter. I made some sugar, got some home-made extract going, but why hasn't anyone mentioned butter? It's like some vanilla club secret that I'm not privvy to *pout*
Thanks for sharing :) I'm going to try this for sure.
Isn't the paste great? I've run out, sadly.
Woah! I'm so glad to have stopped by your blog - I haven't heard of that vanilla bean paste yet!
